THOMAS H. LONG (Deceased)

Strasburg, Pennsylvania

Tom has been on the scene at the P.S.B.A. Conventions since 1949 and can always be heard above the rest. First, he served as a delegate for the Lancaster B.A. In 1967, he was elected as an Eastern Area Director, a position he held until 1986, when he was elected as an Advisory Board Life Member. He has served on the Auditing Committee for many years, chairing this committee for five years. He has served on many other committees and is always ready to serve when called on in an emergency situation.

On local level, he has served the Lancaster B.A. well in all capacities, as a director, as its President in 1973 and served for many years as its Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. Upon the death of Bill Benedict, he assumed the position of Secretary Treasurer and still operates in that capacity. He initiated the computer system in his Local Association and is the guiding force in the Lancaster B.A. Elected to the Lancaster B.A. Hall of Fame in 1984 and is a life member of his association.

Langhorne, Pennsylvania

Ralph Salvati entered the P.S.B.A. Hall of Fame for his dedicated service to the P.S.B.A. and the Lower Bucks County B.A.

On the local level, he was inducted into the Lower Bucks Co. B.A. Hall of Fame in 1987 and presently serves as the advisor to the President. He held the Presidency of this Association, and served as the Tournament Manager for the 1983 State Tournament.

On the state level, after serving as a delegate for several years, he was elected as an Eastern Area Director, then served as Chairman of the Eastern Area, then was elected as 4th Vice President, continuing through the chairs, becoming President of the P.S.B.A. for the 1986-1987 season. Ralph has continued to serve the State Association on the Advisory Board and serves where ever and whenever called upon by the President.

As a bowler, Ralph was the Class "D" Scratch Singles Champion in the 1984 P.S.B.A. Seniors Tournament in Williamsport, rolling a 681 series.

Penndel, Pennsylvania

Jack Winters entered into the P.S.B.A Hall of Fame for his outstanding success in the game of bowling. Jack has been a top ranked bowler in the Philadelphia, South Jersey and Lower Bucks area for many years.

On the national level, he was the A.B.C. All Events Champion in 1962 with a record breaking total of 2147. In 1968, he was a member of the A. B.C. Team Champions. In 23 A. B.C. tournaments, he has a composite average of 195+.

On the state level, he was a member of the State Team Champions in 1965 and again in 1968. In 1968, he was also the State Doubles Champion, this time pairing with Charlie Fiano. In 1989, he won the All Events Championship in the State Seniors Tournament.

Locally, he claims as many as five Team Championships in Lower Bucks and several in South Jersey. He has also doubles, singles and all events championships in each of these associations.
